Ora Recordings brings you a compilation in time for the summer Ibiza season called 'Ibiza 2009'.

From the month of May through September, the music industry gathers on this mystical island to celebrate life through music. It is during this time that melody and atmosphere are championed in a wide range of styles.

Balearic falls into two categories: it's either mid-tempo music with a disco bent and sunny feeling, or the kind of music that Alfredo, the Ibiza DJ who inspired the term, fitted alongside house sounds of the mid-80s.

This release is selection of tracks that we think fit the sound and spirit of Ibiza: smooth, melodic and gorgeous electronic dance music.
